Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope you all had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving. Logan woke up at six this morning and would not go back to sleep. So I ended up getting up and hour earlier than I had planned but thats okay. So I nursed Logan and changed him and put him in his bouncy chair. Then I started making the homemade bread. And the pecan pie dessert. As I was making the pecan pie dessert, I went in the cabinet to reach for the pecans and reliezed they were walnuts. I guess thats what I get for going shopping with a baby that cried the whole time and I didn't pay attention to what bag I grabbed. So it was still too early in the morning to call anyone to ask if they had any. And the commisary was closed and I was not about to make a 20 mile trip to Walmart just for some pecans. So I set the pie to the side and finished up my Banana Pudding dessert. And then I had breakfast and some coffee. By that time, Logan was starting to get cranky because he was sleepy. So I rocked him back to sleep and layed him in the packnplay in the living room. Then I went upstairs to start getting my hair ready and to get dressed. Well as soon as I put the straightner to my hair, Landen started banging on his bedroom door. So I let Landen out and got dressed real quick and touched up my hair a bit. Then I got Landen dressed and made him some breakfast. By then I called Sam and asked her if she had any pecans, and that was a no. So i called Haley, and luckily, she was heading to Walmart and said she would pick me up some. (Thanks Haley!)

So anyways. I talked to Jordan on the webcam for about an hour. He said the Thanksgiving there in the chow hall was not bad that it was pretty good. And he had the day off. So it was good to hear that he had a good day. After talking to Jordan, at 10:30am I put the boys in the car and the food and wine. And I headed to Sam and Ryan's house for Thanksgiving. We cooked. Played Skip-Bo (fun game). And cooked some more. Had some wine. Watched the Titans game (whome won). And then the food was ready about 1:45pm, so we were able to eat. And boy was the food delicious. After we ate. We layed the boys down for their naps and put on the movie, SHATTERED (good movie). And we had some of my banana pudding, which was to die for (seriously).

After the movie, I left to go back home. I finished up the pecan pie and then headed to Haley's house for a late Thanksgiving dinner.

So that was our Thanksgiving dinner day. And I must say it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Besides not having Jordan and my family. It was pretty close to perfect.

Well. I am about to go to bed. It is getting late. And tomorrow I just plan to relax. Clean a little. But mostly relax. I am tired. And can not wait for the 6th, so I can have four wonderful hours away from the boys. The 6th can not come fast enough!!!

Well, once again. Hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving. We love you all!
